  13. I've just installed a 28.8 USR external modem under Win95 but
  14. I'm having problems using any Internet apps like Netscape.
  15. So far with the modem I've been able to send a fax easily
  16. and connect to my local Internet Service provider via DUN.

  18. The problem I'm having is after I've connected with my
  19. ISP, I try to run Netscape and receive an error message
  20. saying "Unable to get DSN...." I get the same type of
  21. connection error message when trying to use other
  22. Internet apps like MIRC or WinVN.

  24. I've also used Quicklink (the software that came w/the modem)
  25. to log into my ISP to read mail w/Pine and have had no problems.

  27. It seems like there is no data being sent or received after
  28. a dial up network connection to my ISP has been established
  29. even though Win95 says I'm connected at 24400bps.
  30. Can you offer any advice? Thanks for any help!
